SONGS

For no real reason, here's the songs we recorded in New York, soon to be assembled into our debut long player. The countdown begins!:

Totally Bone (you know the score)
Some Dresses (ditto - particularly proud of the spacky breakdown middle section. Not too ridiculous, not too restrained. Just perfect)
One Chance (a sharp blast of hardcore screamo action)
Watch This! (stabby riffy shouty number with singalong start and middle sections. Trickiest riff to play for me, but probably the dumbest song on the record. Go figure)
Pink Sabbath (album version of the first single from the record. Might be slightly faster or slightly slower than single version. Who knows or cares? Rock on)
Black Wax (ridiculously cocky mid-tempo stomp with Andrew WK pianos. Seriously. Lol)
Hey Everyone (explosive intro track with Jim O'Rourke-esque riffy bit)
The Greater Than Symbol & The Hash (brand new, even more pulverising version of live favourite - The middle section sounds like we're summoning demons with our guitars)
1993 (same again - but more rocking at the rocking part and more pretty at the pretty part)
Infinity Milk (full length album version with destroying choruses and my favourite bit of guitars ever. Only sounds like Chrome Rainbow for a second and a half. Still too much? You need your head checked. Lol)
Hey James (old skool style Dana song with thunderous guitar end section and Calum hopefully sounding like he's dying - amazing. 5 minutes longer than it should be - amazing. Dedicated to our oldest friend and former drummer James - rocking)
America Runs On Duncan (Duncan's first song for the band is a quite outstanding slice of jangly, angular [jangular?] 90's indie-rock)
Crisps (dark and haunting rocktageous jammy one with shouty "bup!"'s throughout the verses)
Song One Puzzle (yeah yeah - same again, just far more rocking and punishing at the end)

DO I SOUND LIKE IM PROUD OF OUR FORTHCOMING RECORD?
YOU WOULD BE TOO IF IT WAS YOURS!
UNLESS YOU LIKE TOPLOADER
OR ARE RADIOHEAD

Aww. What about us Aussies stalking form afar? Meh, I'll import it. Andrew WK piano goodness is a hideously undersupported genre.
